relevant work experience only?

I'm an LPN, I got my license june 2010 and just started looking for work last month. I've applied to like 10 jobs and haven't heard anything so I'm trying to revamp my resume...it really needs work! So here's my issue 2005 I was a secretary for a few months until I enlisted in the army as a medic, got out in 2007, went to work part time as a cashier, in 2008 I started school for my LPN and graduated at the end of 2009...other than my experience as a medic I have no real relevant work history so would I list the secretay and cashier job on my resume or just whats relevant? I feel like my resume looks crappy with that all in there...but then again I would have all these gaps, it's enough that I have a gap between school and now although it was because my daughter was born right after school.
