about finding a new job!

Am very confused about this matter!
Just moved month ago, my previous job hr drive!
I know i need to look for a new job nearby to my city!
Still i work @ the previous job!
I dunno which one i need to do first?
1st resign the previous job & apply for the new one?
Or wait & apply for new job, & do the previous job till i get the new one!
Big confusion!

it's always easier to find a job while you already have one! plus, keep the income from the job you have now incase it takes longer to find another job than expected! Good luck
