Rn or sleep tech...currently an MA.

Ok just looking for some advice before I make a final decision. I currently work as a medical assistant/phlebotomist I have almost 10 years experience under my belt, however I'm getting very burned out with this career. I have alot of credits for the nursing program at CCBC however the more I think about it the more I realize that I may be doing and dealing with the same issues I'm dealing with now...I currently work in internal medicine and not making much money at all. I have also thought about going to school for sleep technologist because it looks like a promising career. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Only a small number of sleep labs and sleep study centers exist in the U.S., so only a small number of sleep techs are needed across the country. Although many people have problems with sleep, relatively few of these individuals ever seek professional assistance to get their problems evaluated.On the other hand, RNs are employable in hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, nursing homes, prisons, jails, factories, psychiatric facilities, home health, private duty, hospice, birthing centers, corporate centers, insurance companies, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, universities, trade schools, infusion companies, consulting firms, and so forth. However, it all depends on what you're seeking in a career. Good luck to you!
