New CNA -job hunt

Hi all! I recently completed a CNA program in the Chicago area and passed the state exam in January. I've applied for 10-15 jobs (no joke) and haven't been able to land an interview yet. I have been out of work for 1 year and beginning to think that might be playing a factor as to why nobody calls me. Any tips on landing a CNA job? I'm starting to feel like I'm doing something wrong here! Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Once again thank you for your time.
