Celebrities who were formerly nurses...

1 I had Lifetime's "Intimate Portrait" on, featuring Bonnie Hunt (actress/comedienne)...I didn't know she was once an ER and oncology nurse at Northwestern. Just got me to thinking if there's any other celebs out there that are/were in nursing and do they use their status to support nursing (politically or otherwise). MMB
I thought I read that Rupert from survivor studied nursing, but I'm not sure if he ever practiced or what the deal was.

I read that Wynona Judd (the country singer) was once a nurse-- she got Hepatitis C from a needlestick injury.

When I was in the Navy at hospital corps school, we saw many training films. In one of them on how to apply wet to dry dressings, they used REAL nurses to demonstrate, one of the nurses was Shelley Long from "Cheers"! Kind of freaked us out, of course, being a government training film, it was from the late seventies.

I recall a Miss America Leilanie (sp?) Rae Raphco maybe 10 years ago or so, she was an RN.
