Programs for RN's with no work experience?

Greetings everyone!

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any programs available for nurses who were not lucky enough to get a nursing position besides a residency program. Residencies are reserved for recent graduates only. I had to take a non-nursing position to survive and would like to get into nursing eventually, but just do not know how at this point.

A little history, I graduated with an ADN (previous BS in Business and Masters in TCM) in 2009. 3.8 GPA, good references from instructors and nurse managers and no position. Over 350 applications in 10 states with no exclusions on the applications (in other words, any shift, any days, etc). BLS, ACLS certifications.

Do not want to go back for a BSN because of existing student loan debt, and I can get an MSN for similar time and money. Really do not want an MSN with no experience either.

Any suggestions?
