Plasmapheresis Nurse??

I have an interview with a plasma donation center. I was told my basic responsibilities would be screening,aka physicals, take over in case of severe reactions and educate doner hopefuls who have been found to have a communicable disease.

Does anyone have any insight to this field? I was very surprised how quickly my phone rang to set an interview...so I am skeptical.

If not, I would suggest that you make a visit and check it out. You should obtain accurate information about working conditions before you make a decision.
