Graduate from HS needs help on what degree to pursue

I'm stuck between what profession I wish to pursue. A police officer or a nurse. If I become a nurse I would like to help with labor and delivery. I also know that if i become a RN, i can work anywhere.But I don't know what to choose, and I need help. What do I need to do to become a RN?, and how is it working as a labor and delivery nurse?
