Any Kansas City RN's need info

My husband and I, and our kids are moving to the Kansas City area. I am an RN with my BSN, I work in a trauma 2 ER in Utah. I am wondering what pay is like out there? What are the best hospitals to work at? Any advice in looking for a job. What to expect from an employer out there, what is reasonable to negotiate concerning salary and if hospitals do sign on bonuses. Thanks for all of your info.
