OR Nurse to Floor Nurse Transition

Hi Everyone-

I started in the operating room as a nurse in June of 2013 as my first job. I got the job offer at the hospital of my dreams, even though the OR was not my first choice. I know it is difficult to transfer from the OR, but am curious if there are any areas of volunteer work or areas to boost up my resume? Or does anyone recommend going back to school because I am very interested in that as well. Any advice is much appreciated.....Thank you for your time!
Maybe volunteering at a clinic? It might not be as hard as you think to transfer units. It shouldn't be too difficult to get an ambulatory surgery position with your OR experience.
