I am confused is it ok to move for the Nursing home job? I have been applied to several places, it's hard to get the job. Is Nursing home job considered good job experience or not? I would not move that far for ltc..unless its an area you want to live in

Yeah, I wouldn't move to another state for an LTC/Nursing home. No offense to the LTC Nurses out there, but I just don't think it's worth it. As a new grad. who worked in a LTCF briefly, I wouldn't recommend it to you. I just don't think LTC is the ideal place for a new grad.However, if you're dead broke and feel like you absolutely cannot afford to not have this job and you feel like you have done all you can to get a job where you are now, then I guess you should go for it.

also check out Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. They hire new grads, even in specialties like Tele, ICU, and NICU.

PP's have offered excellent advice & assistance - I totally agree. Note to OP - I can't imagine an area that would be more different (geography, culture, etc) than your current home... the change could be very difficult, especially if you will not have family &/or a support system with you.
