From Nurse to Lawyer anyone?Rating: (votes: 0) ![]() I know a lawyer who is also and RN, another lawyer who got his BS in biochemistry, and my mom teaches law school. I think the qualities that make a good nurse are the same qualities that make a good lawyer. According to my mom (who is also on the admissions committee for her school) law schools really do look for people with different backgrounds. Don't fret about not having a background in liberal arts. As long as you're willing to work your butt off, you'll be fine. Good luck! Comment:
I am a laywer with three semesters left in my BSN program. I think having a JD-RN is an amazing combination. Good luck with your dream! Here, the LSAT is the test to take to determine whether you can get into law school. Each school has their own standards for what score will suffice.
Comment:
Risk Management or legal nursing would be two career paths with RN-JD combo's. There is a huge glut of lawyers per se and many cannot find jobs, but I think that combination could open some avenues for you. Go to a really good law school though.....
