Curious about job search

Maybe this belongs in "polls," dunno. I'm curious about how many licensed nurses out there (LPN/RN, new grad or exp, doesn't matter) have picked up non-nursing jobs or even healthcare positions that are "below" what you would normally do in these tough economic times.

I'm an LPN living in Oregon and currently out of work (just left a hellish NH situation in which at least 6 hours of every shift was a full-blown panic attack; not fun) and really starting to feel the frustration of an oversaturated market, and of course I'm also beginning to beat myself up for not sticking with better opportunities when times were better. The agency with whom I've been signed for the last 2 and a half years has been very slow.

I'm just trying to brainstorm ideas to get me back to work in a place where I can support myself that won't physically kill me. Are there any LPNs out there who have gone back to doing CNA stuff or similar?

Appreciate any feedback!
I have been lucky. My area of the country was not as affected by the recession as some. Let me caution you that, as a licensed person, you may be held to that level of care regardless of your job title. Before you accept another position check with your BON about that issue.
