time and a half?Rating: (votes: 4) Just wondering That's up to your particular workplace. I didn't get OT today... Comment:
Also, your differential doesn't get multiplied into OT. So 1.5x would be $21+2 differential (14x1.5+2). So $23 total/hr.
Comment:
what state are you in? sounds like i need to say screw the BSN and move there to be a CNA.
Comment:
It should be in your HR contract that you signed when you were hired
Comment:
Hospital policy, who pays ot for presidents day?
Comment:
president's day is not a paid holiday for every facility. in fact, i have never worked in a facility that gave extra money for working president’s day. so.... check with hr, payroll, or your unit's head/executive secretary (the one that everyone goes to because he/she knows the ins and outs of the business for the floor. this person is also usually the secretary to the don).
Comment:
I'm not sure why you would ask that question on an internet forum. None of us would have any way of knowing the answer unless we also worked at your facility.Do you have an employee handbook?
Comment:
As a Per Diem RN, at my facility we only get paid time and a half for actual OT (over 40hrs/wk), we don't get paid OT for holidays because we are not required to work them like regular staff. But, like previous posts have mentioned, every facility is different so check with either your supervisor or HR.
