Sample Questions for mini Interviews introducing new staff to staff members

I will be conducting a mini interview and posting a picture by new staff memebers photos. What kind of questions does everyone feel is appropriate to ask and something you may be interested in knowing about new staff members?
Ah! Very nice way to introduce new staff. 1. Where did you go to nursing school?2. What is your favorite book/movie?3. If you didn't go into nursing, what other profession would you have considered?4. Which areas of nursing do you enjoy most?5. What was the most unusual job you have ever had?6. What is the one thing about yourself that you think your co-workers would be surprised to know?7. How many states have you worked in?8. Have you ever traveled abroad? What was your favorite country?9. What is your favorite comfort food? How 'bout the recipe?!?10. What is/was your favorite pet?Just naming a few fun questions that might get the ball rolling for ya!

I am sure your intentions are coming from a good place, but, I'm not too cool with the idea. Really, I don't want to put my CV or personal info out there since I've changed careers to nursing. In my previous profession I had no problem with this, but in nursing - no, thanks.

I appreciate workplaces where there is some actual process to introduce and integrate new people into the staff group.Having said that, however, I would not want it to be too focused on personal details, or too "cutesy". What about just a photo (the headshot from the ID badge would work just fine) with name and credentials?

I think this is a fun idea!Just keep it light and fun! I think this type of thing helps foster a more comfortable team environment.I liked a lot of the first posters ideas so I would keep the questions along those lines.

I think an interesting question might be to ask about future goals, or past achievements!
