Who should read a skin testing result?

Hi there! I just like to ask a question regarding to who should be responsible in reading a skin testing result? should it be the NOD or the physician? thanks...pls. do reply..im really confused..
I would think it would depend on what kind if skin testing result. I know for PPDs, the NOD can read it. ETA: at least, in the USA they can. I don't know abou tother countries.

On the floor when pts were being placed for LTC we placed the PPD's and read them times 3 days. If we got a positive reaction, we notified the MD to order a chest X Ray..

ohh..im sorry i wasnt able to mention what kind of test was that...well...it was just an allergy test..and I think that it's the physician's responsibility to read it...or not?

My son just had a scratch test a couple weeks ago to determine what he is allergic to. The nurse poked him all over the back and then came back in 15 minutes later, cleaned off the skin and wrote down and took measurements of the bumps and red areas. The Dr. came in a few minutes later and looked at the skin also. He was the one to tell us what the allergies were. But it doesn't take a genius to interpret the resulting bumps, does it?

the doctor, it is the primarily doctors duty to interpret and to order the medication be given if the no allergy has been noted, the nurse perform the skin testing for allergic reaction prior to antibiotic administration, the nurse perform intradermally, .09 PNSS + .1 medication, documents the time the procedure performed and rechecked after 30mins, if allergic reaction has been noted the nurse informs the doctors and it is also the nurse advocacy to safe guard the doctors order to give or not to give the medication depending on the skin test result. In short, The nurse performs the skin testing per doctors order, the doctors evaluates/interprets.
