new grad ready for work how to approach the human resource dept

I am a new Grad, looking for work. Almost all the hospitals here have you put your application on-line. I really want to work at one particular hospital. I want to approach the human resourse department in person with my resume. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this and what to say so that I come across as a serious hard worker that wants to make a difference in this organization?

Any ideas or suggestions as to how I can "put myself out there" ?

I would try searching the boards, I have seen at least 100 posts in the past month that have the answers you seek. Good luck!

I was just reading an article, "50 things HR won't tell you", in the Readers Digest. Two that come to mind and I am paraphrasing, don't come by and drop off resume, it is creepy". And "if you want to work at a certain company, bypass us entirely". Go to the website and read the article. It was a very informative and hilarious read. Peace!

I applied to all the positions that I interviewed for online. I start my first new grad position in two weeks. Apply online and have patience (I know, easier said than done).GOOD LUCK!
