considering moving to Texas

Hi, I am newly licensed LVN in California, and I am considering to move to Texas. I see that there are a lot of LVN job postings in Texas? Is it easy to find LVN jobs without experience? And I like to know which application I need to fill out to get the Texas license. Please help!!! Last edit by corona1208 on May 10, '11 : Reason: different questions
You do not have to give up your California license to get Texas. I moved to Texas from Louisiana and I kept them both for a while. Texas is part of the compact. After you get your Texas license , you could work in 20 something other states with just the Texas license.

Comment:
you need to contact the T-BON (affectional known as t-bone) for info on paperwork. See their website at www.bon.state.tx.us. As for LVN opportunities I cannot say. Probably depends on where you locate. Good luck in your search. Oh, TNA might have job listings on their website. www.texasnurses.org.
