HELP! Taking Chemistry-103 at PCCC for UMDNJRating: (votes: 0) PLEASE HELP, I'm taking "CH 103 Introduction to General and Organic Chemistry" at Passaic County Community College and I would like to know if UMDNJ will accept this course. I think you need to ask UMDNJ. Send them a course description and ask if they'll accept it. Comment:
Even if someone here were able to give you a definitive answer, which isn't likely, you would need to get it from them (UMDNJ) in writing in case their policy changes after you take the class.
Comment:
NJ has a program where most if not all credits from community college will transfer to in-state colleges. However I would contact UMDNJ to verify. Here is a link with the name and email address of the person at UMDNJ.http://www.njtransfer.org/html/conta...&vmode=student

That's the problem, they wouldn't give me a definite answer. The community college offer so many chemistry courses.

Thanks for the contact info. So far I haven't got a definite answer for the chemistry course. They say when you apply, the head of admission will decide if the course is valid. The thing is community college offer so many chemistry courses from organic to general.
Comment:
If that is the case than there really is no way to find out because it sounds to be based on the opinion of the person reviewing it. The only other thing I can think of is to get a course description of organic Chem class from umdnj and compare it to the course description from pccc. You may also try talking with an advisor at pccc and see if they have any experience with credit transfer to umdnj.
