For those that work night midshift how do you like it?

I'm starting an ED job on the 9p-9a shift. I've worked 7p-7a, but I have a feeling working a little later will be different. I'm looking forward to not commuting with traffic. Do you have any trouble sleeping after coming home mid morning? Do you find yourself exhausted? Do you find it really works for you? Thank you!
I worked 11-7 in LTC for two months and hated every minute of it. No matter how much I slept I still felt tired. I know some people like not having management and office people around, but I prefer to because that is extra resource people. But, someone people love midnight shift, but I prefer 3-11.

I like it. The staff I work with are nice. However, I find it hard to stay awake and coffee doesn't help.
