Nursing School and Nursing as a career can be really stressful and tough and emotional and we all have our bad days. I think most will agree with me when I say its worth it because Nursing is just great in loads of other ways However, we all need time to relax and chill out. What do you like to do to relax after a stressful day?

Personally I love to jam on my guitar and sing on the top of my voice lol I then have a cuppa tea maybe watch some tv before hitting the hay oh I find playing with my diabolo stress relieving

What do you like to do??
I like to stretch out on the couch, get a foot rub from the hubby, and watch all my favorite TiVo'd shows!

Balancing stress with relaxation or relaxing interests is important for nurses.I love to dance !Its always more fun in a group setting as illustrated in the video clip below...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4O8J1JOhywtakes a little time to download, but fun!

To relax: I swim, I cycle, and I run. The heat has me running inside these days (yuck) but with a triathlon in Sept and a half marathon in Oct, I can't take days off from training. Running is a great stress reliever! 10 miles to unwind is the best. Not sure how I'm going to fit in my long runs once I start school, but NOT running is NOT an option.

I drink moscato, and watch law and order.I also love to travel. Have a nice mini trip for O.C. next month and in December I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas.

have a margarita in the pool floating with my puppy. I have a 70 pound puppy. 10 months. He loves going in the pool (in ground). He is kind of a terrible swimmer at times so i put a life jacket on him and he is like a kid, he goes all day. Throws himself some sticks, loves fun noodles and jumping in. My favorite just watching him have a blast.Or my fiance and i love going for an evening fish down by the creek after work.Kayaking. We are purchasing some kayaks soon. so sick of renting!!
