needle stick with insulin pen

my friend just got needles stick from an insulin pen, after injecting it to a patient. the patient is hep b negative and she immediately washed it after, she is currently reading this forum but she has no account yet. she needs some source of peace of mind thanks
Hopefully she spoke with her employer regarding this ASAP. She will need to have blood draws/testing. Luckily I think the risk is VERY minimal since insulin pens are sub q not IM.

she said that it went through the cap, i know she shouldn't have recapped it. sigh....

She reported this, wrote an incident report and went to Occ Health immediately correct?
