what are the chances?

what are the chances of getting an interview from the same hospital that you've messed up on a previous interview a few months ago? ok, I admit I was stupid for not being fully prepared for my first interview at a hospital. Does this ruin my chances of being considered for the future months/years later??
I don't think so, especially if it's been awhile. Most HR departments don't keep their applicants paperwork in their systems for all that long (I think the longest I have seen is 6 months.) If you reapply after that time period goes by I bet they won't remember that you ever put an application in, in the first place. Even if they still do have your stuff, I think it could even be considered a plus if you applied again. Maybe you wouldn't get an interview again in a department you were interviewed for before, but I would certainly think you could be looked at by other unit's managers. If you really want to work for a particular hospital you can get a foot in the door sometimes if you just keep trying.

probably no need to worry unless you got weird on them and scared somebody. Relax. Each event is a new event.

Can I ask how you "messed up" the first interview? I'm always concerned about preparing well enough for an interview and it's helpful to hear of what experiences other people have had.And yes, you should definitely apply. You probably won't have the same interviewer either, so it seems like there's no need to worry.Good luck!

Only way to find out is to apply again and see what happens. Good luck.
