Any RN's working in a VA Community Living Center?

I have a tentative offer (pending credentialing and BGC) as a RN in my local VA CLC. Can anyone shed some light on these facilities, the patient acuity levels and the RN function? I posted this in the Government/Military Nursing section but very little response.
I'm sorry I don't have much to offer you, except to say "If you've seen one VA...you've seen ONE VA". There are many differences when going to another region, even another facility in the same VISN.The CLC in my facility operates very similar to nursing home care, with the same level of acuity, and the nursing work is pretty much the same as you'd find in LTC anywhere. If you like LTC, you would probably like this, if not....not. But at least once you're in the VA system you can get the opportunity to move to another unit IF you don't like where you are (and IF there's an opening, etc etc).Good luck!
