Femoral Sheath Pull-typical policy @ your facility

Hi, I am a CCU nurse in Southern Indiana. I am interested in femoral sheath removal and the usage of 1-2% lidocaine with 1:100,000 epinephrine prior to sheath removal. Currently, we can use up to 5ml of lido c epi after a manual sheath pull to constrict any small capillaries that are causing a slight ooze. This is never used for active bleeding from a femoral artery! I was reading about the usage of this technique, and I came across some articles from the UK that mentioned using lido c epi prior to a sheath pull.

I am wondering if any CCUs in the US currently inject lidocaine or lido c epi prior to a femoral sheath pull.
I'm not in the US (Canada) we have it available for sheath pulls as part of pre-printed orders but in approx 10 years of CCU I've not seen a nurse choose to use it.
