CNA Reciprocity

I have currently started my career in the medical field as a CNA in NC. I will be moving to Rochester NY in summer 2015 and will continue with nursING school there, and in t he meantime work as a CNA. My question is does anybody know from experience what they start out there with little experience and also can I just file for reciprocity and be ok? Will I need to take test and classes over? I really hope not as for I will need to find a job asap. Thanks for any advise....
I have the understanding that CNA's are certificate thru the state. You oreally need to contact the agency in charge of certificaiton to get your questions answered.

Comment:
Reciprocity (I believe) refers to licensure

Comment:
Reciprocity (I believe) refers to NCLEX (national) licensure, not certificates issued by states. I agree with the other poster that you must contact the state to which you are moving to obtain their criteria. Also, posting this in the CNA forum instead of nursing will likely get you more educated answers.
