CNA and Vetpro hiring process for VA HospitalRating: (votes: 0) Will this matter? I assume he hasn't made the calls yet since this was yesterday. Now, here is my problem. I have read some of the problems with filling out and waiting for the VetPro background check. I am 40 years old and haven't worked as a CNA for several years. I am currently in a customer service role. But I have kept my CNA and CPR certification current. I have kept it current by being a live in aide for a family member. It has been around 10 years since I last worked as a full time CNA. I don't remember co-workers names and can barely remember supervisor names. I also worked for a lot of different nurse staffing agencies. I can't possibly remember my dates of employment and may even have a problem recalling all of the staffing agencies. Is the Vetpro process the same for a CNA as it is for a Nurse? Can I use my family member patient as a reference? Do I have to give exact dates of employment? If I give a ballpark date, will this hurt my chances? What if there is no record of employment? What if the company has closed? What if I can't find an old nursing co-worker to use as a reference? Can anyone please shed some light on the hiring process for a CNA? Is it as strict as it is for the nurses? I really would love this opportunity but the whole VETPRO process has me worried. |
