Help! What How to prepare for a Job

I need tips on how can you prepare for this event.
One of my friend is RN in Hemodialysis. She's helping me to get into their clinic. she said that after her Boss saw my resume he did asked my friend that I have to go to their clinic and fill up an application form?
Has anyone of you experience a situation like this? I have no idea. Are they gonna interview me or just fill up the application and go?
What do you think should i do before hand:
What to wear?
What to bring?

Regardless of how impressive a resume may appear, facilities like to have an application from their own facility on file. The last 2 projects I had I didn't have to fill out a separate application, but just today I did with another company. I made an excel spreadsheet, that I call my application cheat sheet. It has all of the information required on an application in an organizzed and precise format. It takes no time at all to fill out an application when you have all of the information right in front of you and you don't have to strain your brain thinking now when did I work here, how much did I earn, what dates was I there again, etc...

Copy of nursing license, ss card, CPR cert and drivers license are the stand stuff they will eventually ask for.

I can tell you what NOT to wear. Shorts and a pair of flip flops! (sorry, I've seen it happen). They may just take your application and call you for an interview on a different day, but I would wear something business/casual just in case they want to talk to you that day!

no flashy ear-rings, limit your rings, no piercings. Look like you are going to church sort-of-thing. I made the mistake of wearing sandels in the summer. Wrong. No fluorescent nail polish. Yes, business/casual sounds right. If you have a tat, it does not need to show in the interview. Dixiecup is right, many times you get an interview right then and there when you apply. They will ask you some question like "why did you choose nursing?" Or, why this facility? Know what the mission of the employer is before you go in.
