how to land a job after multiple firings.

Advice anyone? Going out today to find yet another job.
Why do you keep getting fired?

Hard to help if we don't know what keeps going wrong. Maybe the question isn't "how to get hired" but "how do I keep my job once I get it"?

My unorthodox advice is to focus on the bottom-of-the-barrel facilities. Hiring managers at these places might be more willing to overlook your multiple terminations because they are so desperate for staff.And, as others have mentioned, address the issues that lead up to these terminations. You hit the nail on the head. I don't know why I keep getting fired. Well yes I do... I have a lot of ideas... I'm actually going for counseling starting tomorrow to address my issues.

One suggestion I have, from having some (limited) involvement in hiring decisions over the years, is to really sit down and figure out what the problems are that are leading to the mulitple firings, and be able to explain to a potential employer what you've recognized as your shortcomings (without getting defensive or blaming others), what you have done/are doing to correct those, and how you are going to be doing things differently going forward. Counseling sounds lke a good idea. Best wishes!
