first RN paycheck?

16 year old nursing student? I take it that means you graduated high school early, but I'm kind of curious how that works with clinicals- many facilities require age of majority for clinicals.What did I do with my first RN paycheck? Pay bills. Save a little. Make the first months rent/last months rent/security deposit on my apartment. Honestly, if nursing is your first full time job and you either live on your own or with a significant other, nursing pay isn't all it's cracked up to be- sure, I can save a little and take a vacation every year, but it's not like I'm rolling in money.

Thank you for your response ! I'm a dual enrollment student . Starting August I'll be a early admit. I'll have my RN liscens By the time I'm 18 thanks to summer classes & the school district paying for everything
