Help with advancing carrer

I currently have an associates RN and would like to advance my education. Currently thinking ARNP or CRNA. Would I be wasting my time to work on getting my MSN and then finish with either specialty or would I need to choose now and start one of those specialties? Thanks for the input!
If you plan to go back to school to become a NP, you will need to get your BSN. If you want to become a CRNA, you will need critical care experience and your BSN (as far as I know). Requirements for these programs vary greatly, so you will want to look at what the requirements are for the programs you are interested in.

Thanks for your response. As far as I can tell, both require MSN as well as other added schooling. I'll keep researching
