New shift Questions 4P-4A

Hi there all!

I just got hired into an ED with a 4P to 4A shift. I work in a NICU currently with a 7P to 7A shift. While I know my job will change significantly, I'm trying to figure out how the new shift will effect things.

Does anyone work this shift? Do you like it? Hate it? Just looking for some insight Thanks!
4P-4A. Lucky you! That is a dream shift. You get all day to take care of doc appointments or any other issue before going to work. And then get off work at 4A, when it is still dark outside and can get some good sleep before the sun rises. I am soooooo jealous!!!!

I worked 3p-3a for a year. Hated it. Much happier on 11a-11p.

Your drive time will be nice before after work rush hour and before anyone has to be up to get to work

That is a dream shift to me.
