Super-sensitive Nurse Nose

2 Some Nurses have super-sensitive noses. It's been said that the human nose can smell about 10,000 different odors. Thinking about this reminds me of the movie, Silence of the Lambs, when Jodie Foster placed a substance under her nose during an autopsy. I've done that, too, using a mentholated-like substance. It works. One must be warned, however ... don't use an odor-concealing substance that you really love because it will soon become an offensive smell. How do you handle this if you are a Nurse with a super-sensitive nose?
I am definitely one of these people. I've never used anything on the upper lip, however. And, breathing through my mouth makes me gag ... makes me think the odor solidifies and I'm ingesting it. *blech*Sometimes I think I'm part blood hound.
