Looking for Independent Legal Nurse Consultant Jobs

I am finding it harder and harder to find lawfirms and insurance companies that need nurses to review cases. I am in my last month and a half of my paralegal studies degree and I am realizing what an interesting side of nursing it is. I am looking forward to working with this field and away from beside nursing where I have been for the past 10 years. Any advice?
First step - become familiar with the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC) I would also suggest becoming certified. They have an excellent network & serve as a great job referral source. (I have no financial or professional relationship with AALNC).
