CNA working in an assisted living facility?

Hi! I hope you're doing well I'm currently a second year BSN student, and a friend of mine in the same program suggested that over our winter break we get CNA certifications, which I think is a great idea. I've been looking at the CNA jobs in my area and most are geared towards ALF's. I volunteered once at an ALF so I have limited knowledge on what working in one is like. Should I look for a job there, or try a hospital? What were your experiences in working in an ALF? Thank you
