Ambulatory Care Certification - who should take it?

Hi everyone,
i'm a new nurse working in ambulatory care ... at what point should i take this certification? should i ask if company will pay for it? how do i approach em? I just started a few months.

Minimum experience is 2 years full time working as a registered nurse in an ambulatory care position. 2 years full time experience is the minimum requirement for nearly all nursing board certifications regardless of specialty. The reason being is one cannot be a specialist after just graduation. As far as reimbursement, it depends on the employer some do, some do not. Check with your employee policy manual or with your human resources representative.
