PRN vs Full Time

I am a somewhat new labor & delivery nurse, 2 years with 10 years of scrub experience, and trying to decide whether to stay full time or look into PRN. I'm in the Plano/Frisco area and I don't need benefits. I'm wondering if anyone can help me in this decision. I would love to go PRN for the higher pay and less hours but don't want to be cancelled all the time.Does anyone know the average PRN rates and if being cancelled is done very often?Also with my scrub experience, I'd consider working in the operating room as well.Any advice is greatly appreciated:-)
