Am I making the right choice? OR nurse but might move on.....

Well, I am an OR nurse and have been for over five years now. I love my job but have become disillusioned with management (in my defense it has been an issue with our department...worst turnover rate in hospital...can't keep anyone). I have found another job and will start in about a month but it is in LTC (they loved me and want to fast track me into management). I just don't know what to do. I fear I will be bored to tears in LTC (though the pay and benefits will be very good). I love and hate my current job but just can't stand it anymore. Will I miss the excitement of the OR? I don't know. I am so confused!
Leave on a good note so maybe you could return if you really miss it. The best thing about nursing is so many options. I say go for it and see what happens. Best of luck!
