Where are all the jobs?

Hi there! So, I'm currently living in San Francisco and am having a very hard time getting into a hospital (I've been trying for two years). I really need to get into acute care, if not an ICU, asap. I'd rather stay out west, but at this point I'm willing to move anywhere. Can anyone recommend a city or area where I'd have an easy time getting a hospital job? I have a BSN with some grad work, BLS, and over a year of SNF experience, if that helps. Thanks so much!
South Texas. You'll make a little money for a lot of work, but you'll be able to survive anywhere after that. Five patients in California will seem like a dream come true.
