Looking for NP to shadow in SoCal

Hi everybody. Just joined and want to say this is a very informative and helpful forum. Yes, I tried a search but couldn't find anything. If anybody out there knows and can tell me how I can shadow an NP in southern california, I would really appreciate it. I am RN who is ready to pursue further education and want to be an FNP. Thing is I normally work in ER and ICU and the hospital system I work for doesn't have a whole lot of NP that I come in contact with. I have inquired at a few of the state college NP programs and someone recommended that I try to shadow an NP to get a more detailed understanding of the totality of the job. Any leads would really be appreciated.
