DoD Nurse vs Prison Nurse

Hello,
I am interested in DoD preferably Overseas RN positions. Also, looking into Dept of Corrections RN positions stateside. Anyone with RN experience in those locations, would like to read their reviews/ experience. i am an AF veteran as well. 6 yrs.

Is there a big difference in Payscale, retirement. overall experience.
