What if this happen to you !!

1 I had worked at the same facility for25 yrs then 2wks. prior to my 26 th anniversary was terminated.The reason I was told for termination,not attending enough CEO meetings.SERIOUSLY!!.Now here I am 4yrs from being able to get my retirement & no one hiring me.Well that is it,thanx for letting me vent. Oh, by the way be careful my fellow nurses,it could happen to you.
I was let go after 20yrs. A reorganization. I was devastated but as a manager I wasn't part of the clique so all the CNOs suck ups got to stay. There is even more to this story but it would take to long to go into. I was 5 yrs from retirement and lost a great deal. I have moved on in a place where I am not micromanaged and have a work family balance! So I made out in the long run!

Many condolences. I hope that you are in a state where you can claim for unfair dismissal. This sort of thing can and does happen to anybody.
