acute care experience?

What would be considered acute care experience.
Obviously hospitals.
What about doctors office?
Dialysis?
Anything else considered acute care?
Many places want previous acute care experience so what would be included?
Acute care means "inpatient" care that is not "long term" or "rehab" or "residential" (psych,MHMR). So, by definition, this is limited to hospitals.
