Any former teachers?

Is anyone else out there a teacher or former teacher?

Has anyone else left teaching to become a nurse? If so, what was your experience? Were you glad you made the switch? Pros & cons?

I've been teaching elementary education for 8 years now and am feeling burned out. I can't see myself teaching for 22 more years. Is there anyone who has experienced the same or similar? And did you enter a BSN program after completing your prerequisites?
