Volunteering at a Hospital

Hello, I am in the process of looking for a job as an entry-level CNA at a local hospital. I am wanting to volunteer so that I can get a foot in the door; not to mention it looks good on a resume. I really don't have a particular department that I am interested in just yet, so I was hoping some of you would have some suggestions as to a good department for me to get my feet wet, so-to-speak. I know that I won't really get a hands-on position as a volunteer, but I would prefer to work in a patient care department rather than somewhere like the gift shop or the information desk. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!
