Veterans Hospital/clinic

Any one knows what benefits does veterans hospital/clinics have. I am interested on a job with a good benefits package.
Benefits-wise, it is hard to beat Federal Civil Service jobs... and that's what the VA is. The down-side? Dealing with the organization that basically exemplifies the word "bureaucracy".
