Progressive Care vs. Mental Health

Rating:
(votes: 0)

I recently took a job in an inpatient acute mental health unit and have been working there now for 8 months. I was looking for a part time job to help supplement my income, and ended up getting accepted into a job on a progressive care unit. I ultimately want to work in an acute setting, maybe even the emergency room. Debating if I should take the job in the progressive care unit since I don't want to burn my bridges at the mental health unit, where I've only worked for a few months. Won't it look bad on my resume moving from one unit and hospital to another in such a short amount of time? And I know pay shouldn't matter, but the progressive care unit does pay more. But the mental health unit's hospital has better benefits? Not sure what I should and need advice. Pls help.
