Too much on my plate?Rating: (votes: 9) ![]() Hi! I am starting the acute care dnp program in the fall and also work two contingent jobs. I am planning to quit one of them (that I've been at for only about 9 months) and keep my other one (been there almost 4 years). I decided based on which job is more flexible and honestly which job I enjoy more. I also kept in mind if I do get time that I can knock out a bunch of hours for a week or two at work, which job will have those hours available for me to pick up. Comment: Thanks Samantha! Do you think someone with only 2 years of experience will look bad for 2 jobs and leaving one in less than a year? That's my fear.. even though I am on great terms with both places.Comment: I don't think that will look bad at all! I think they will most definitely understand your priorities!Comment: A coworker suggested leaving both and getting a home care job... he said the flexibility would be better. I'm curious, what do you expect of a Per Diem employee? What's the attitude where you work towards PRN people, how much they should be there etc.? That's the biggest issue.
