Recommended BSN online degrees

Hi folks,
I finally have the opportunity to become a nurse. I have been scouring the internet trying to find an online program that offers a BSN. I only have my associates in science but it seems all the online programs offered are geared to RN's or those that have a Bachelors degree. Any advice?
I don't think you can get your RN online. There is a LOT of clinicals involved. Most programs (all, that I have seen) will let you do RN to BSN on line, but not to get your initial RN. Good Luck.

Check out Excelsior College. They offer ADN, BSN, and MSN. You do have clinicals, but you do them at a hospital in your area. Contact them. I'm sure they'll give you some good information.

Mrsilly, I will check them out. ThanksIt's frustrating because I was accepted to FAU's BSN program and would have graduated in 2 years, which is why I was wondering why I couldn't do the same online with clinicals at a local hospital.

The only completely online RN program I've ever heard of is Excelsior College and to get into their RN program you must already be a LPN, completed 2/3 of a RN program or have some kind of medical background via the military. Do you mean you want a Hybrid program where all of your theory and general ed classes are on-line and you do clinicals with your school at the designated facilities. Or are you asking for an online prgram in which you are responsible for completing your own online and clinical rotations/coursework etc.... If it is the latter I've never heard of such except for Excelsior, not saying that programs like that don't exist, but I've never heard of them.

I'm not sure of where you are, but I think the Chamberlain University and South Univeristy have such a program on there various campuses. Just keep searching something wil show up.
