New MDS Coordinator Preparing for MDS 3.0

I am a new MDS coordinator, just spent 2 days in an intense training seminar for MDS 3.0. However what I was not able to get out of it was how do you begin preparing for the transition now, with the current MDS assessments you are doing? Should you be planning the next assessment based on the ARD now, vs the R2B? Or do you wait until October, and starting with those assessments base the next one one the ARD?

Confused, they didnt really cover this in the seminar, and haven't been able to find much information on it.
since july we have been doing ard to ard for our quartely's and annuals. now we will not have to recalculate the correct due date for our assessments due in october and beyond.
